Extreme(D3) drought conditions continued across the southern half of the zone with the north remaining in Severe(D2) drought.

Wider weather episode

Above normal precipitation for areas of Grant and Sierra counties improved drought conditions there. Little to no precipitation further south kept Severe(D2) to Extreme(D3) drought going through the month.
