Several large trees uprooted across the roadways. No injuries or damage to homes.

A broad trough was moving through the western United States with a 175 knot jet rounding the base of it along the International Border. A surface low with a strong cold front pushed through the Borderland during the morning hours and brought wind gusts up to 76 mph to the area.
