South Bass Island C-MAN Station (SBIO1) recorded a peak convective wind gust of 54-mph.

At the surface, a cold front swept from the western Great Lakes region to central Lake Erie and about halfway eastward through OH during the early to mid-morning hours of the 19th. Ahead of the front, isolated to scattered multicell rain showers and thunderstorms persisted generally northeastward over Lake Erie and produced isolated gale-force peak convective wind gusts along the Ohio shore amidst weak MUCAPE, weak to moderate DCAPE, and moderate effective bulk shear.
