Trees were blown down near intersection of Camden Road and Daly Lane.

Southerly winds ahead of a cold front brought moisture northward, resulting in a moderately unstable airmass developing by the afternoon. Scattered thunderstorms developed ahead of the cold front and tracked northeast through the Illinois River Valley, producing large hail and damaging winds. The storms weakened by late evening.
