Bath County dispatch reported a tree blown down onto telephone lines near the intersection of US-60 and Moores Ferry Road.
Wider weather episode
A very slow moving cold front was lined up west of the state during the day on Friday May 14th. A line of storms developed along this cold front and raced eastward ahead of the front, making it into eastern KY during the overnight hours. Just after 1am EDT on Friday March 15, the line of storms reached the far northern counties covered by NWS Jackson, producing a couple instances of wind damage in Montgomery and Bath Counties as they moved through.
