Snow Squall. Heavy snow showers with up to 3 inch per hour rates led to numerous cars and semis in the ditch at Lookout Pass, which caused Interstate 90 to be closed for a period of time.

An upper level disturbance interacted with a weak backdoor cold front from Canada to bring heavy snow showers to the region.
