Multiple trees and power lines were reported down around the town of Lexington.

A strong area of low pressure across the Tennessee valley tracked up into the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes region, bringing a cold front through central North Carolina. A broken line of showers and storms tracked across the northern and northwest Piedmont and produced several reported downed trees across portions of the Triad and southern Piedmont. Storms exited the region by late evening.
