Thunderstorm winds blew down several power poles in an area from U.S. Highway 61 and the intersection of Highway F and County Road 263.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front moved through the region during the afternoon and evening hours of March 14th. There were widespread reports of large hail as the storms moved through, some up to 3 inches in diameter. There were also several reports of damaging winds.
