A member of the public measured 8.0 inches of snow 4 miles southeast of New Meadows, ID. Another member of the public measured 6.5 inches of snow in Yellow Pine, ID.
Wider weather episode
An upper level trough brought a cold front through the region on March 2nd, bringing several consecutive days of snow showers to the region. This brought several days of heavy snowfall to mountains and one day of moderate snowfall to the Treasure Valley. This caused some traffic delays.
