The Horse Haven mesonet station recorded a wind gust of 58 mph as a result of outflow winds associated with a nearby cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.

Wider weather episode

A shortwave trough and associated cold front moved through the region, resulting in isolated reports of strong and damaging wind gusts. Additionally, reports and pictures were received of a funnel cloud in central Utah.
