Strong winds resulted in damages to the mobile home at the NWS Cooperative Site located in Chiraco Summit. Damages included a metal awning and shingles stripped off. In addition, the exterior door to the utility room that faced the north-facing wall of the home was badly damaged. No injuries were reported.

A potent low pressure system moving southward along the Lower Colorado River Valley results in strong northerly winds across most of southeast CA during the morning and afternoon hours on the 14th, with the nearby observing sites reporting peak gusts in excess of 30-40 mph. The strong winds in particular damaged a mobile home at the NWS Cooperative Site at Chiraco Summit, CA.
