Snow Squall. Visibilities quickly dropped to around 1/4 mile or less as the squall passed through the area.
Wider weather episode
Snow squalls impacted portions of far northwestern Wisconsin on March 27, 2024. An area of low pressure had moved across the region the previous few days and was located to the northeast of the area. Low level instability and moisture supported cellular snow squall development from the late morning through the early afternoon hours.
