A strong low pressure system brought heavy snow to portions of the San Diego County Mountains March 30-31. Some notable storm total snowfall amounts include: 9 inches at Birch Hill on Palomar Mountain (5700' in elevation) and 7 inches at Mount Laguna Lodge (6100').

A strong low pressure system and an associated atmospheric river impacted Southern California on March 30th and 31st. This event saw impacts in the forms of heavy rain, some scattered thunderstorms, and snow to mountain communities above 5000 feet in elevation.
