A strong low pressure system brought heavy snow to portions of the San Diego County Mountains March 30-31. Some notable storm total snowfall amounts include: 9 inches at Birch Hill on Palomar Mountain (5700' in elevation) and 7 inches at Mount Laguna Lodge (6100').
