A squall line developed in western Ohio on April 17th along a cold front before tracking east into western Pennsylvania. Behind the cold front, a 50kt low-level jet was measured on the KPBZ radar at 3,000ft and surface based instability ranged between 500J/kg to 1,000J/kg. As a result, widespread wind damage was noted with this passing system.
