Strong Santa Ana winds impacted inland portions of Orange County on March 13th and 14th. Peak wind gusts were generally in the 35-50 mph range. Some notable higher gusts include 65 mph at Modjeska Canyon (SCE1164), 64 mph at Trabuco Canyon (SCE080), and 59 mph at Chino Hills.

Strong high pressure entered the western US on March 13th. This allowed for a strong round of Santa Ana Winds to impact Southern California on March 13th and 14th.
