Event narrative

Generally 1 to 2 inches of snow fell across the area with locally higher amounts up to 10 inches at Hickerson Park, which is favored in northeast flow.

Wider weather episode

A cold front associated with a shortwave trough moved through the area, bringing light to moderate snow accumulations to the mountains of eastern Utah and western Colorado. Northern slopes appeared favored for the better snow accumulations with limited amounts in the valleys.
