Large hail up to two inches in diameter fell in an area from Litchfield northeastward towards Lake Lou Yaeger.

A strong cold front moved through the region during the afternoon and evening hours of March 14th. There were widespread reports of large hail as the storms moved through, some up to 3 inches in diameter. There were also several reports of damaging winds.
