A wide swath of large hail, up to 2.5 inches in diameter, fell across the southern portions of Washington County. Large hail fell in Oakdale and Posen.

A strong cold front moved through the region during the afternoon and evening hours of March 14th. There were widespread reports of large hail as the storms moved through, some up to 3 inches in diameter. There were also several reports of damaging winds.
