Multiple SNOTEL stations reported over a foot of snow.

A slow moving area of low pressure brought heavy snow to the some of the mountain ranges of central Wyoming, mainly the Bighorns and Casper Mountain. The heaviest snow fell at Casper Mountain, where up eastern Bighorns up 20 inches of new snow fell. Over a foot of new snow also fell along the west slopes of the Bighorns as well Casper Mountain. High wind also occurred in portions of Fremont, Natrona and Johnson Counties, with the highest wind gust oof 72 mph reported near Hiland in western Natrona County near US Highway 20 26.
