Thunderstorm winds blew one tree down on Madams Creek Road and one tree down at a location one mile north-northwest of Hinton. Damage values are estimated.

Wider weather episode

A line of severe thunderstorms moved across southeast West Virginia during the late morning and early afternoon hours of the day. Damaging winds from the storms downed power lines and a large number of trees, blew a roof off a building, and caused superficial damage to a couple other buildings.
