Event narrative

Two waterspouts were observed about 2 miles south of the Channel 5 Bridge. One waterspout had a visible spray ring. The waterspouts moved toward the east about 10 to 15 knots.

Wider weather episode

Convergent convective clouds accompanied by rain showers developed in advance of a weak cold front approaching the Florida Keys. Two waterspouts were observed south of the Channel Five Bridge.
