A waterspout was observed south of the Boca Chica Bridge. No spray ring was observed and the condensation funnel extended halfway down from cloud base.

Wider weather episode

A cumulus cloud line accompanied by rain showers, formed from land breeze convergence off the north coast of Cuba, produced a few waterspouts as it crossed northward through the Lower Florida Keys.
