A waterspout was observed northwest of Key West via the NWS and several mariners. The waterspout was relatively wide, had a confirmed spray ring, with its duration approximately 30 minutes.

Wider weather episode

Scattered gale-force wind gusts and a couple waterspouts in association with thunderstorm outflows were observed during the morning of May 20th over the lower and middle Florida Keys as a cold front slowly approached the Florida Keys from the north.
