Hot temperatures around 6 degrees above normal were experienced in the Tohono O'odham Nation May 28. Highs of around 100-103 degrees occurred with moderate Heat Risk levels. The Pima County Medical Examiner confirmed that heat was the primary factor in the death of one individual on the Tohono O'odham Nation along a walking path.
