Multiple rounds of thunderstorms impacted Middle Tennessee on May 26, 2024, and into the 27th. The first round of thunderstorms that moved through the area during the morning of the 26th was the strongest, producing damaging winds and very large hail. Hickman and Williamson counties received very large hail of two to three inches in diameter which caused damage to many vehicles. While the second round of thunderstorms late in the evening on the 26th and in the early morning hours of the 27th were not as intense, they did produce sporadic wind damage in the form of downed trees and power lines.
