Event narrative

Wind damage occurred to the Deerhaven Generating Station along NW 13th Street. Part of the tin roof was peeled off of the building at about 320 ft above MSL. The time of damage was based on radar The cost of damage was unknown, but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.

Wider weather episode

Southwesterly steering flow and increasing moisture produced scattered strong to severe storms where diurnally enhanced boundaries including the sea, river and lake breezes converged.
