Event narrative

Trained spotters reported numerous tree limbs down in Canton with the largest up to 6 inches in diameter. A 3 to 4 foot diameter tree was also downed near 4th Street and Lewis Street.

Wider weather episode

In the early afternoon, multicellular thunderstorms produced large hail spanning from Knox County to St. Charles County as they tracked northeast. Isolated bouts of wind damage were reported through the afternoon as well.
