Event narrative

NWS survey team found several uprooted trees along Hwy 97, beginning near the intersection of Hwy 200, ending near the Kershaw county line. The county EM reported an indirect injury when a person drove into a downed tree on Hwy 97, near Ember Ln.

Wider weather episode

A line of thunderstorms developed ahead of a front in the southern Appalachians and produced significant wind damage as it moved into the northern Midlands from the northwest.
