Thunderstorms developed along a cold front as it passed through the area during the early morning of April 29th. The near storm environment was unimpressive, and the severe weather threat was forecast to be isolated and marginal. Only one instance of severe thunderstorm winds was reported in Missouri, happening in Washington County.
