Tree branches and a few trees were reported down in Mount Sterling.

Wider weather episode

Discrete thunderstorms developed in the late morning of May 24th in the free warm sector ahead of an approaching cold front. One thunderstorm produced large hail and damaging wind in central Missouri. Later in the evening, a supercell produced large hail in Jefferson County.
