Wiseman COOP observer reported 7.2 inches of snow fell in 7 hours with a 24 hours snowfall total of 14.9 inches. Coldfoot reported 15 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

A strong Bering low pushed a front across the West Coast, Arctic Coast, and into the Interior of Alaska. This storm produced widespread areas of locally heavy snow, blowing snow, and blizzard conditions on the West coast, and Chinook winds in the Alaska and Brooks Range.
