High winds developed during the early morning hours of April 11th at Poorman USARRAY site (J19KZ). Wind gusts up to 59 mph were reported.

The wider storm

A strong Bering low pushed a front across the West Coast, Arctic Coast, and into the Interior of Alaska. This storm produced widespread areas of locally heavy snow, blowing snow, and blizzard conditions on the West coast, and Chinook winds in the Alaska and Brooks Range.
