Blizzard in Yukon Delta Coast, Alaska

Blizzard conditions developed after midnight on April 10th at Cape Romanzof (PACZ). Wind gusts to 64 mph were reported, accompanied by visibility in blowing snow of less than a quarter of a mile.

A strong Bering low pushed a front across the West Coast, Arctic Coast, and into the Interior of Alaska. This storm produced widespread areas of locally heavy snow, blowing snow, and blizzard conditions on the West coast, and Chinook winds in the Alaska and Brooks Range.
