High winds developed during the morning hours at the Anaktuvuk Pass USARRAY site (E22KX). Wind gusts up to 67 mph were reported.

A strong Bering low pushed a front across the West Coast, Arctic Coast, and into the Interior of Alaska. This storm produced widespread areas of locally heavy snow, blowing snow, and blizzard conditions on the West coast, and Chinook winds in the Alaska and Brooks Range.
