High winds developed during the afternoon hours at the Hoodoo Hills (HDOA2). Wind gusts up to 62 mph were reported.

Wider weather episode

A strong Bering low pushed a front across the West Coast, Arctic Coast, and into the Interior of Alaska. This storm produced widespread areas of locally heavy snow, blowing snow, and blizzard conditions on the West coast, and Chinook winds in the Alaska and Brooks Range.
