A thunderstorm produced wind gusts of 56 kts measured by a personal weather station in Manheim.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms developed along outflow boundaries and a dryline in a warm, moist airmass. Some of these storms produced large hail. There was large hail across the Austin area as well as in Marble Falls. In Marble Falls, emergency management confirmed over 300 residences and businesses were hit with very large hail. Insured losses just near the Marble Falls area are estimated to be near 10 million dollars.
