The Clinton County emergency manager reported an RV turned over on its side, power lines down, multiple large trees blown over, and a roof blown off a house. This occurred along Coles Creek Road near Carlyle Lake.

A strong dynamic environment and low level jet kept ongoing convection strong and at times severe as it propagated through the forecast area during the early morning hours of May 26th. Mixed mode convection organized into a weak line of thunderstorms as it progressed through Illinois, resulting in one report of wind damage in Clinton County.
