Chp reports an accumulation of 12 inches of snow at the junction of 299 and Titlow hill, 5 miles west northwest of Willow Creek, CA. LAT. 40.90N, LONG. -123.77W.

Wider weather episode

A deep trough brought widespread hail showers and snow to Northwest California. Heavy snow of several feet was measured in the mountains while the hail showers resulted in numerous traffic accidents along the coast.
