Several trees were blown down by severe thunderstorm wind gusts. In addition, a flag pole was snapped by the winds, and minor structural damage occurred to a nearby home.

An upper level trough moved over East Tennessee and surrounding areas, helping spark scattered severe thunderstorms, which produced a handful of large hail and severe thunderstorm wind gusts.
