Localized flooding occurred in the 700 block of Lee Highway given a poor drainage issue, possibly a partially blocked culvert. The road was passable to traffic after the high water receded. No damage was reported.

Wider weather episode

A poor drainage issue, possibly a partially blocked culvert, resulted in minor flooding along the 700 block of Lee Highway during the early morning hours of May 27th. MRMS (Multi-Radar/Multi-Sensor) output and multiple personal weather stations in the area reported rainfall amounts ranging from one third to one half of an inch of rain falling during a 3-hour period across Marion.
