EM reports more than 450 people without power assumably from the wind as 50-55 mph winds move across the area due to 10 power poles snapped, in the area of CR D and 7. Two irrigation pivots blown over, too.
Wider weather episode
In the late afternoon of the 29th, a line of storms formed in central Colorado and moved east into northwestern Kansas. This line of storms caused straight line wind damage to many power poles due to estimated wind speeds of 120 MPH.
