Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down multiple trees on the road.

Afternoon and evening thunderstorms popped up in a very warm, moist and unstable environment. Weak perturbations riding along the edge of a strong ridge were enough to help spark the scattered thunderstorms near the Finger Lakes region. Damaging wind gusts were the main hazard with these storms.
