Downed tree on Northern State Parkway eastbound exit ramp partially closed at exit 27S-Shelter Rock Road in North Hempstead. 1 right lane of 2 lanes closed.

Showers and thunderstorms formed west of our area along a cold front and then moved east towards our area. The storms became severe and continued in a warm and moist environment, producing damaging winds across southeast NY.
