Event narrative
A strong Bering frontal system moved over Southwest between April 10th and April 11th, producing widespread gusty south winds and falling/blowing snow. Several hours of blizzard conditions occurred along the Kuskokwim Delta Coast, including PAOO and PAMY on the morning of 4/10, spreading into PABE through the early afternoon of the same day. PABE recorded 6+ hours of 1/4SM visibility or less, with winds gusting 35 kt or greater beginning 102050Z. PPIT recorded 6+ hours of 1/4SM visibility or less with sustatined winds of 25 kts, gusting 30 kt or greater beginning at 101945Z.

A strong Bering frontal system moved over the Southwest between April 10th and April 11th, producing widespread blizzard conditions with gusty south winds and falling/blowing snow noted across several weather stations from along the coastline east towards Bethel. Snow and winds reached the Southwest coast early Wednesday morning April 10th, increasing significantly as it did. Wind gusts over 35 kts combined with snow accumulation which ranged from 7 to 10 inches.
