Trained spotter reported an estimate of 11 inches of snow at 2700 feet, 4 miles west southwest of Dinsmore, CA. LAT. 40.47N, LONG. -123.67W.

Wider weather episode

A deep trough brought widespread hail showers and snow to Northwest California. Heavy snow of several feet was measured in the mountains while the hail showers resulted in numerous traffic accidents along the coast.
