Event narrative

NWS Storm Survey recorded damage to trees, barns, and power poles. Based on the degrees of damage from these items, estimated 118 MPH winds impacted this area. The worst damage was northwest of Parks on Ave 327 where 13 power poles were snapped, suggesting an estimated 118 MPH wind gust caused it.

Wider weather episode

In the late afternoon of the 20th, a cluster of storms began to from in north central Colorado and moved east. As the evening progressed, these clusters grew into more of a line. This line of storms produced 2.5 inch diameter hail, estimated wind gusts up to 118 MPH wind gusts that caused damage.
