Two sensors at Bridger bowl provided snowfall estiamtes. The first, Bridger Top, estimated 9.9 inches new snow a the ridge of the Bridger range. The second sensor, Bridger Alpine, estimated 6.4 inches new snow.
Wider weather episode
A robust, cold upper level trough swept across the Northern Rockies June 16-18. The track of the mid level low (Across N ID to Central MT) was favorable for precipitation and given the cold nature of the system, brought snow to the mountains.
