Nickel size hail was reported 2 miles west of Palisade in Mesa County.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms developed in the northwest flow behind a departing low pressure system. A few of these storms were strong with small hail due to the cold air aloft, however hail greater than 0.75 inches in diameter was observed in Mesa County.
