Thunderstorm winds downed a few trees on Breezy Rich Road.
Wider weather episode
A stalled frontal boundary was draped across northern North Carolina and near southern and central Virginia. Increasing dew points and strong surface heating along and just south of the boundary aided in increasing instability by the afternoon hours. Storms developed along the stalled boundary and produced a few instances of damaging winds.
