Event narrative
Thunderstorm winds downed several trees and a few powerlines from Breeze Hill Road Southeast to Parkers Farm Road.
Wider weather episode
A stalled frontal boundary was draped across northern North Carolina. Increasing dew points and strong surface heating along and just south of the boundary aided in increasing instability by the afternoon hours. Storms developed along the stalled boundary and produced a few instances of damaging winds.
